What happens when I do readings?

Just so you know I have permission from anyone I mention in my blog as my readings are always confidential. I get my clients consent as they understand it is good to share information because there can be interesting situations from time to time and it makes the whole psychic & spiritual world come alive. They understand it could help inspire other people along the path of their lives to read these experiences. One day is never the same as the next as you never know what to expect and can never presume anything, that’s for sure!

Everyone is different and has individual needs so really you never know what is going to happen.

If I am able to, I sometimes do a mediation before my client arrives and can get all types of information. For instance one day I was mediating before my next client arrived and I could see a lady with fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes staring back at me and she told me her daughter was the next person coming for a reading.

When the doorbell rang and I quickly answered the door expecting to see a blonde haired blued eye girl standing there. Well instantly my breath was taken away as a beautiful Indian girl is standing there with quite dark skin and jet black hair. I smile back at her welcoming her in thinking to myself “well I got that wrong it can’t be her mother I just saw”.

We settle into the reading and before long I can sense the energy of her mum’s spirit blending with me and she tells me it was very timely that she was coming through that day.

I sheepishly let the young lady know in front of me “your mother is showing me she has blonde hair and blue eyes” (I didn’t quite believe I had it right, so I will feeling a little apprehensive giving this information) and the young lady replies “yes that is my mum and it is her birthday today”.

Slowly the conversation goes on and the young lady is in tears as she knows her mum is still around her and encouraging her with the time at university. The magic of spirit never ceases to amaze me and the healing power it gives when they bring through credible evidence and powerful messages, healing their loved ones on earth and this case encouraging her daughter and giving her a sense of peace. As I say goodbye to this lovely young woman I take a big deep breath reminding myself that spirit never ceases to amaze me and you can never be too certain about people just because they look different from the person coming for a reading. They can still be closely related. I have to keep my own mind out of it. Which can sometimes be a challenge because I want to give the best possible information to my clients and it is easy to question myself.

Often people want guidance about relationships and once again you never really know what to expect. There was one particular day when an elderly lady arrived at my home (she appeared to be in her 80’s) and she had a real spark about her. She was keen to hear from her mum who passed many years ago and her belated husband who had passed over only a few years earlier. Tears really started to roll when her darling black cat called Wilkie announced himself in the reading. I had a giggle to myself thinking “does this lady love her cat Wiklie more than her husband?”. Of course I know she loved her husband dearly, it is just sometimes animals can have a way of getting to us. Near the end of the reading I asked her if there was any more questions and she told me that she had 2 boyfriends and she didn’t know which one to choose out of the 2. I had to keep a straight face, take her very seriously and realised after she left that romance is important for most of us and admire the fact that she had 2 men on the go. What a character!

It truly enjoy what I do, but one day in my psychic world is never the same as the other and it is truly interesting work.
