Unrealistic expectations of a psychic

I feel I am not alone as a psychic when speaking about this topic as I would say other people in my profession may feel the same way. We have a gift  to share with others and have a  desire to help others with their lives so they feel strengthened and empowered.

I can sometimes feel that the expectations of me personally as a psychic is unrealistic and not achievable.

So why is this? People often don’t really understand what we do and how it all works and can presume we have magical powers that can read everyone’s mind, know the future, know everything about the world, even the lotto numbers.

If we were that good we would not only all be very wealthy by now, we would not be human.

We all have gifts, whether it is musical, artistic, creative, athletic, academic and so on.

Mediums and psychics have a psychic gift and are often known as sensitives.

Psychics and mediums tend to be ultra-sensitive and pick up information through their own senses which is seeing, hearing, feeling, touch and taste. When we work psychically we are usually working with one, some or all of these senses which interact with each other and paint a picture.

E.G A person may visit us and we can suddenly feel like we have a headache, which actually doesn’t belong to us, it is the person we are doing a reading for that has the headach, we just pick up on it.

We may feel a sense of sorrow because the person coming to see us feels sad or even elation when they have had something great occurring in their lives.

Alternatively  we may feel they are a mother, teacher or business owner. Or you may have an image of 3 young children around them.  It isn’t about body language or working them out, we purely go with what we senses and what our senses are telling us. Someone may be sitting opposite us and we have a vision of a plane in the sky and then see the statue of liberty and know they are off to the States for some reason. When you give this information to the person you are reading for they can look surprised and say “how do you know this?”. We actually don’t know this, it was our psychic senses in action giving us the information.

When people ask us direct questions like “Who is going to win the rugby?” or “What is the name of my child?” “What is the name of the man I am going to meet?” we can offer feel blocked and under pressure.

Do we get information about the rugby, the name of someone’s child or the name of person someone is going to meet the answer is yes sometimes we do. However this is when it is given to us naturally, not under the pressure of a direct question. When someone asks anyone a question we search for the answer bringing in our thinking parts of our brain. As soon as a psychic starts to think or work something out their psychic ability is closed down.

Can a psychic be asked questions? Yes they can but the answer will be given in a cryptic yet accurate way.

E.G A clients once contacted me and wanted me to locate their missing brother. They asked me for the street address, , suburb and city.  My mind went into lock down and I found myself struggling for information and getting upset they I could lead them on a wild goose chase. Which of course I didn’t want to do. I also felt under pressure to give them the news they wanted to hear which was he is safe, alive and you will see him again. It took me a few days but eventually when I relaxed  I was given an image of black Labrador dog and I felt it was a male. I contacted them to let them know the  image I saw (all the while feeling a bit silly about this information not knowing how relevant it was going to be). They were elated to hear this because their missing brother had once owned a black Labrador male dog had gone missing but unexpectedly came home. I knew and they knew that their missing brother was likely to reappear safely just like his dog had. The next day they phoned me to say that their brother had just turned up ok and unharmed. What a relief!

As a psychic all I can say we do our best to help you, we don’t have all the answers but the information that given to us is often empowering and accurate, even it if is in a cryptic kind of way.
