Connecting with your spirit guides

We all have spirit guides around us throughout our lives, guiding us along our path.

It is that feeling that someone is guiding you or watching over you. Some may call spirit guides their angels or their friends.

Children often speak of their imaginary friend or friends and to them it is real.

Adults can think this is just their vivid imaginations where as others believe what they are seeing or sensing is true.

Around the age of 8 years of age I used to see a young girl with long dark hair, light olive complexion and to me she was beautiful. I felt loved, safe and secure when she was around and sometimes she directed me and helped me in tricky situations. She told me her name was Elizabeth. In my book Breaking Free I mention her often as she kept me calm many times and felt like my guardian.  Like a life long friend she grew up with me and in particular was around me in times of danger or in sadness. She helped me face by battles, gave me a feeling of peace and unconditional love.

Elizabeth still comes in around me now with her warm, feminine, uplifting energy and things never seem so bad when she is around. Always humble, soft, full or care and in particular patience. She evens visits other people at times when I am taking workshops or meditation, often wearing a long flowing white gown and sometimes blue. She brings with her a sweet smelling fragrance of flowers and you know it is her.

Elizabeth remains to have the special twinkle in her eye which encourages me into enjoy my life and have adventures.

So can you connect with you spirit guide or guides? The answer if yes of course you can. If you mediate and quieten your mind you can often see, hear or feel them. They are special to you. They are very close to you, understand you. They influence you in a positive way and help you with your intuition at every corner on which course to take and what is best for you. In times of trouble they often protect you and do there best to warn you or encourage you.

You all have free will and don’t have to listen of course – they are guides here to guide us.
